Want to know how Easy Weddings’ Wedding of the Year 2017 works? Here’s a basic rundown but you can also read all the fine print in the competition terms and conditions.

Monthly Competition

  1. Submit your wedding for consideration on our Real Weddings blog. Among the things we’re looking for are inspiring stories, impressive styling and amazing photography.
  2. Each month, from the stories that are published, Easy Weddings will announce a maximum of 12 nominees for the monthly competition.
  3. Couples whose stories are nominated will receive a link via email to the current month’s voting page.
  4. Share your link with as many friends and family members as possible via email and social media (that’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Google +, etc) – you want to get as many votes as possible.
  5. Voting is also open to the public.
  6. The couple with the most votes wins the monthly competition and is automatically nominated for Easy Weddings’ Wedding of the Year 2017.

Wedding of the Year

  1. After voting has closed for the December 2017 monthly competition, the 12 monthly winners will receive a link via email to a new voting page for Easy Weddings’ Wedding of the Year 2017.
  2. Voting for Easy Weddings’ Wedding of the Year 2016 commences on February 1, 2018.
  3. Once again, share the link with as many friends and family as possible – you could be off to Umbria!
  4. The couple with the most votes wins the grand prize and the title of Easy Weddings’ Wedding of the Year 2017.
  5. The photographer of the winning wedding receives their choice of a Premium directory listing or a new business website, up to the value of £1,800 inc VAT.
