Designed by pioneering architect Inigo Jones, the Queen’s House is Britain’s first and finest classical building and a masterpiece of 17th-century architecture. The house was designed as a place of pleasure and celebration, a tradition that continues today. Design your perfect day in this stylish royal retreat.
We can offer three different spaces:
Great Hall (120 max for ceremonies and reception)
The striking beauty of this perfect 40-foot cube-shaped Hall will dazzle your guests with its original black-and-white geometric marble floor, magnificent contemporary gold-leaf artwork featured on the ceiling, and spectacular views towards the Thames. A perfect setting for large wedding ceremonies and wedding breakfasts.
Orangery & South Parlours (40 max for ceremonies and reception / 150 max for standing receptions)
Bathed in southern light with breathtaking views up to the Royal Observatory, the Orangery and South Parlours are the perfect location for toasting your marriage. Open the south door and take full advantage of our lawns with vistas across one of London’s oldest royal parks.
Undercroft (150 max for dancing)
With hire of the whole house, you and your guests can continue your evening celebrations with dancing in the Undercroft. These vaulted chambers underneath the Great Hall create an atmospheric party space with room for a DJ or band, bar and lounge area.
