Have you noticed something different about us? No, we haven’t had our hair done or got new glasses. We’ve revamped the look of the Easy Weddings website!
Like any good makeover, the new look may take a little bit of getting used to at first. But we promise that the returns are worth it.
So what’s changed?
The Directory
The updated UK site is now live and has been running for several days. For suppliers, the major changes you’ll notice when it comes to navigating the site are in the Wedding Directory. Not only has it been revamped and refreshed, but it’s also become much more user-friendly for couples planning their wedding.
Improvements include:
- Site navigation
- Site responsiveness
- More mobile-friendly
- A changed look for the couples dashboard
- Real Weddings now has its own tab and directory
- The following refreshed planning tools:
- To-Do list
- Budget Calculator
- Guest Manager
- Seating Planner
- The following refreshed advice and visual content:
- Articles
- Wedding Polls
- Music
- Business pages
- Fairs/Expos
- Web Design Portfolio
- Pro Education
We’ve also made changes to how the site tracks users and statistics. The new site is now optimised for tracking through Google Analytics, Facebook and Adwords.
The Couples Dashboard
We’ve made it even easier for couples to keep track of their suppliers with a series of quick links. Those suppliers who they have saved, enquired with and booked will be easily accessible through links at the top of the page in the directory, as well as the My Suppliers section.
There’s also a history section where couples can keep track of all of the suppliers they have previously looked at.
WedCRM
We’ve also revamped some of the content on WedCRM, meaning that you have even more of an opportunity to keep on top of your Easy Weddings campaign.
If you’re using Wed CRM for your storefront you can now fully manage your storefront, reviews and account through the WedCRM dashboard.
Why have we changed it?
These changes to the look of Easy Weddings UK have been more than a year in the making! They’re the culmination of many late nights and different trials from our research and development team.
We wanted to make sure our site continued to improve in speed, usability as well as a simple interface for couples to use. With the new-look site already operating well in Australia, our goal was to replicate this in the UK.
This allows us to stay even more on top of how the site is doing, as well as giving couples a slicker, more streamlined site to use.
What does this mean for you?
Other than additional resources in WedCRM, the new-look website is a good thing. Refreshed sites convert higher than older websites, and we expect Easy Weddings to be no different.
There are still some features of the AU site that are yet to be carried over the UK page as we continue to work on making EasyWeddings.co.uk the best site it can be. We’ll keep you up-to-date as we know more about any additional changes.
