We finally found our suits!
I had a particular colour in mind and have been searching for what feels like a life time. Store after store, no after no. So I took some advice and went to DFO. Low and behold our suits!
You may be wondering why it was so hard, we weren’t going for a standard black or grey suit I was looking for a beige kind of taupe light brownish colour. Shouldn’t be that hard should it? Yeah I know, it sounds impossible and it almost was. We went to DFO armed with our three children and my maid of honor. We were on a mission and not leaving until we found them.
The first placed we looked was where we found them. It was fate. I walked in and saw them hanging across the room, there weren’t many so I handed the pram over, threw handed same thing , and fled to the wall. There were maybe 10 of them all together so I grabbed them all in my arms and shoved my fiance into a change room to try it on.
Oh My Gosh! I could not have picked a better colour. He looked absolutely amazing in his suit! Even more reason to marry him, not that a I needed anymore. What was even better was that he liked it too. So I turned to the shop assistant and exclaimed “I’ll take them all.” I literally flailed my arms as I said it, looking back I now realise it was slightly dramatic but it was a big moment. I was elated to find that we were able to put them on hold so that the groomsmen could try them on. So placed each and every one of them on hold and quickly informed the groomsmen so they could come down and try them on.
Everything is falling into place and now I need to really on worry about our menu and the DIY portion of the day, which is the bulk of it! Eeeek.
