According to a study by The Ohio State University, there is one solution to improving your marriage overnight. The study, by researchers The Ohio State University Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research, found that lack of sleep is what causes most marital stress.
And not only that, but it also puts you at risk of stress-related inflammation, which is associated with higher risks of heart disease, arthritis, diabetes and other related diseases.
The study, which analysed the blood of 43 couples, found that couples that both had less than 7 hours sleep on the two previous nights were more likely to argue or become hostile with each other than couples that had more sleep.
For every hour of sleep lost, the researchers found that levels of two known inflammatory markers rose a huge 6 percent!
