Nearly a year in the making, we’ve built Australia’s only multi-vendor wedding registry from scratch. That means couples can shop for thousands of products, in categories as diverse as Electronics, Entertaining, Home Decor and evenTravel, from some of Australia’s best-known retailers including Adairs, Barbecues Galore, Godfreys, House, JB Hi-Fi, Milan Direct and The Luggage Professionals – all in one spot!
Until now, Australian couples wanting to use a gift registry had to either visit a physical store to select (and, often, pick up) their gifts or they had to choose items from the limited brands and products in a single store. From today, couples can create a gift registry that truly reflects their tastes.
“When we started this whole process, we couldn’t believe that there was no simple way for a couple to just create a gift registry from home and have that registry contain all the items they actually wanted,” says Matt Butterworth, Managing Director of Easy Weddings. “We actually found that many couples were actually setting up multiple gift registries on different sites and with different offline stores to cover the different categories they wanted to include in their wedding gift registry.”
“Our new wedding gift registry fixes that problem,” adds Matt. “Now, couples can sit at their computer and build their registry to include pretty much anything they’ll need for their new life together, be it traditional items such as cutlery and linen or more modern desires such as iPads, games consoles and even locks for the suitcases they plan on taking with them on their honeymoons.
“There’s something for every type of couple that will fit every budget and new items are being added all the time. At last count there were more than 10,000 gifts to choose from.”
It’s free and easy and you can set up your gift registry in minutes. Simply click on ‘Registry’ on the main Easy Weddings menu (see below) and hit ‘Create Registry’.
Follow the prompts and, within a few minutes, you can start adding items you’d like to receive for your big day.
