There were no toasters or bed spreads among the gifts at Les and Louise Hampson’s wedding. In fact there were no gifts because the happy couple requested guests contribute money… towards a boob job for the bride-to-be.
The Brits, from Cheshire in England’s North West, requested guests forgo gifts and, instead, contribute funds towards new breasts for 33-year-old Louise, who says she was concerned that her breasts had sagged after having three children from a previous relationship.
Surprisingly, the couple’s 200 or so guests had no objection and the couple managed to raise about £2000 from donations on their big day. Having saved about £2000 of her own, the newlyweds found they had just the right amount of money for surgery and she has since undergone the surgery and boosted her bust from a size 32D to 32DD.
She told England’s Love It! magazine, ‘My wonderful wedding guests have given me the greatest boost to my married life – new boobs for the blushing bride!’
And, on their invite, they wrote, ‘So, rather than something we have already got, we would appreciate money for Louise’s boob job pot!’
Louse says her sagging bustline lead to her becoming increasingly self-conscious, especially after she began dating Les, her far younger neighbour.
However, Louise’s confidence appears to have soared since the surgery and, in the interview, she added, “My boobs are almost healed. Soon I will be showing them off in all their glory!”
