With stylish surroundings, fine dining and superior luxury, choose Carlton Towers for any occasion.
Carlton Towers is an ancestral home belonging to the Duke of Norfolk’s family and home to the Duke’s brother and sister-in-law, Lord and Lady Gerald Fitzalan Howard. One of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets, this unique country house has everything a perfect historical building should have – magnificent architecture, a distinct family heritage and a beautiful tranquil setting surrounded by an estate kept going through the ages. There has been a house in this location since the Norman Conquest, but the oldest parts of the house as it stands today date back to the 17th century.
The house lends itself as wedding venue and also hosts exclusive events, dining and conferences, whilst the park provides for a variety of countryside pursuits. We have been hosting weddings and a range of conference events here at Carlton Towers for over thirty years. We welcome you to join us at our spectacular venue and experience the grandeur.
Carlton Towers actively encourages neighbouring, local and inner city schoolchildren to visit so they can see for themselves, through its rich variety of wildlife, the environmental and ecological benefits of conservation. We are currently working with students from Askham Bryan College, one of the UK’s fastest growing agricultural colleges, who visit the estate regularly to help with various elements of game keeping as part of their work experience.
