When did you start your beauty regime for your wedding?
A Third of Brides Use Six Month Beauty Regime
One in three brides has already started her beauty routine six months before the wedding according to an Easy Weddings poll. 36% of the brides that responded to the poll said they would have adopted a new routine in preparation for the wedding with at least six months to go. However 38% said they weren’t planning to start a new beauty routine for the big day.
Most brides want to look their best on their wedding day, with healthy radiant skin and perfect make up. Many brides will visit a skincare professional once they get engaged to get some advice on a routine that they can adopt in the run up to the wedding, and products that suit their individual skin type. A pre-wedding beauty regime will usually involve cleansing, toning, and moisturising the face, and exfoliating and moisturising the skin on the body.
Many brides will start their new routine as soon as they are engaged, with 17% indicating that they would start 12 months prior to the wedding. On the other hand quite a few left it until the last minute, with 9% only beginning 1 month before the wedding and 2% starting the week before the wedding.
As well as daily skin care, a bridal beauty regime might involve drinking plenty of water, getting more sleep, making changes to your diet to include more fruit and vegetables and less chocolate, and booking a series of professional facials in the run up to the wedding. Most brides also want to experiment with their wedding cosmetics before the day itself to be sure that they are going to suit their skin type and complexion.
The 38% of brides that weren’t planning to start a new routine may already have been happy with their beauty regime, or perhaps they were naturally blessed with glowing flawless skin!
