A well thought out proposal from Lincoln Elliot led to an extra sentimental wedding when he married his love Rebecca Anderson.
At the tender ages of 20 and 19 respectively, the pair wed under a tree in Gleniffer, NSW. “The night [Lincoln proposed] consisted of me receiving flowers at work, finding my car wrapped in string and having to follow a map and a set of clues,” smiles Rebecca. “He had set up a beautifully decorated tree which he proposed under.”
Seven months later the Coffs Harbour, NSW residents were married under that same tree, surrounded by 70 guests.
The shabby chic wedding on March 22, 2014 had many, what Rebecca describes as “quirks and unique aspects” that celebrated them as a couple. Soft lilacs, props, lanterns and vintage-style images by Scott Carle Photography all worked together to create the look trending with many brides. Rebecca is actually a wedding photographer herself, so it’s obvious she was picky in her choice of supplier!
“It was a perfect day for me and my best friend to start the rest of our lives together,” Rebecca says of their day. Rebecca and Lincoln honeymooned in The Cook Islands.
Rebecca and her bridesmaids were dressed by Melanie Jayne Formal Wear. They all wore Converse shoes!
Gleniffer Hall provided the ideal surroundings for those perfect shots.
Consider hiring props to make those snaps extra unique.
