They were first a couple as “little tackers” and then friends before lovers, but years later on February 15, 2014 Lauren Stevens married her man, Beau Taysom.
“Always the gentleman, Beau, at the end of every school day, would walk me to the school crossing and give me a kiss goodbye,” smiles Lauren. The pair ended their young romance but remained good friends and many years later realised they had true love. “Since reuniting we have gone from strength to strength and built a very cosy and very loving life together.”
They celebrated their commitment with a bush wedding in Eltham, Victoria with 120 guests. “It was understated and rustic,” explains Lauren of her wedding to Beau, both 28. At Inglewood Estate they were married out the front of a chapel with beautiful greenery. This was followed by a reception at the same venue. “As soon as we saw this venue we knew it was the place we were meant to get married,” says Lauren.
“We have been high-school sweethearts, friends, confidants and lovers and through each step we have tackled life together with trust, a smile and above all, love,” says the bride.
Lauren walked down the aisle to Jack Johnson’s “Banana Pancakes”.
Lauren’s Pronovias gown was designed with feathers and lace appliques which she wore with a statement cuff from Anna Campbell.
On Three Photography hit the mark for this couple. “Our photographers were amazing, so talented but they also mingled with the crowd to get some beautiful shots of us and our guests,” says Lauren.
