When a bride says she “wouldn’t change a thing”, you know their wedding day went exactly as planned.
And for Elise Josephson and Troy Petley, that was without a care in the world, Elise explains. “We planned our wedding exactly as we wanted it and invited only the people we wanted there. Everything went really well and we didn’t have a care in the world,” says the 27-year-old bride of her wedding to 31-year-old Troy.
The pair were married in Camden NSW on March 9, 2014. Earthy styling created the rustic vintage wedding theme. “The styling of our reception was made up of clusters of vintage jars filled with romantic ‘just picked from the garden’ posies of gorgeous blooms in creamy white and ivory tones,” describes Elise. Clementine Posy was engaged to style the day.
To carry through the theme, the couple had wedding pictures taken among horse stables before heading to their reception venue of Belgenny Farm.
Elise says despite being nervous leading up to her wedding, she was super relaxed on the day. “I had been a little anxious in the lead up…being told stories of how fast the day goes, how things always go wrong and how so many couples regret spending so much money on one day,” she says. But she needn’t have worried, saying the day was a dream come true.
Forever Classic Wedding Cars put the vintage in Elise’s rustic vintage theme.
“My Stella York dress was purchased from Sweethearts Bridal Boutique,” says Elise.
“I only wish every bride and groom can feel the love and happiness we felt on our big day,” says Elise.
