DIY save the dates

Our polaroids!

He SaysI must admit it is really hard to say no to a really great idea. So when Jess came up with the idea of Polaroid photos, I was pretty pumped to get involved.

She Says

So we have jumped on the ‘save the date’ bandwagon. Originally we were quite staunch that we weren’t going to spend money on things that could possibly be deemed unnecessary. This included save the dates especially since we had communicated the date with most of our guests and there were only a handful from interstate and overseas.

But it got the better of me and I just couldn’t help it!

To fit with our modern vintage theme we borrowed a Polaroid camera from a friend and bought some film (cheaply) from ebay! and the below pictures tells the rest of the story!

Save the date

We had so much fun taking the photos with beautiful St Kilda Beach and pier as the back drop and my sister (aka bridesmaid!) as the photographer and her fiancé shakin’ it like a Polaroid picture!

Each picture was unique and we have had such a great response from all! Well worth it!
