Weddings Without Worry

Weddings Without Worry is based in Newton Abbot and specialises in weddings in Devon. Devon is lucky to have many fantastic venues from luxury hotels by the sea, or moors to underground caves, all of which are stunningly beautiful. The area also has an abundance of good local fresh produce and individual suppliers who care in about their clients.

I formed Weddings Without Worry having successfully planned my own wedding. I received many compliments from my guests about the event, from the fact that everything was beautifully co-ordinated, to the ultimate goal of everything running like clockwork and without a hitch. It was suggested to me on the success of this that I should ‘do it for a living’. I enrolled on a Wedding Planning course and qualified as an International Wedding Planning Professional (IWPP), as well as joining the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners as an associate member.

I found the whole process of wedding planning a challenge but enjoyed every moment. Having an idea and sourcing all the necessary information and suppliers to achieve that dream is very satisfying when it all comes together, and rewarding to look at the end product. All too often family and friends are unable to give an objective view, whereas someone independent can. Achieving the perfect day for everyone, and the client being happy with the result, is what I will strive for.
