James Hey Piano

James is a versatile pianist, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and entertainer from Holmfirth, Yorkshire.

He began learning the piano and organ at the age of 7, and by the age of 12 was playing with high school ensembles, bands and in musical productions, alongside being a local church organist. He rapidly obtained grade 8 standard on piano, drums and percussion, and joined Calderdale Youth Symphony Orchestra as principal percussionist.

Today, James is an award winning, professional and in-demand Wedding and Events pianist and DJ. He can read music and is equally proficient at playing by ear to perform the best pop music of the modern era, and from the last 50 years and beyond, and also provides the best recorded music service around!
