OVERVIEW

Thomas Joris is a saxophonist living in East Sussex.

Thomas studied music at the University of Birmingham (2002-2005) and has performed at a large number of venues since then. He has considerable experience performing at functions as a solo artist with backing tracks and in bands.

Everyone loves a good party and no party would be complete without music! The only thing that beats a great playlist in terms of atmosphere is live music, and which instrument is universally more popular than the saxophone? Thomas was just superb. It rained when he arrived and he coped with the last minute change of not being able to go outside brilliantly. The rain then stopped and he moved all his equipment outside to where we had originally planned for him to play, without any problem. His music was just what we had in mind when we booked him, and set the occasion off just as we wanted. He is a great musician and a very amenable professional to work with. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Thomas is a truly accomplished sax player and his playing as guests arrived at the reception venue was perfect for creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We heard many compliments during and after the day - even my Grandad was impressed and that's some achievement!

Thomas is super reliable, beforehand he was really clear about what we wanted, he asked lots of questions, came the evening before to check the sound. So we felt confident in him because he was really thorough and really nice!. We chose a song that played during the service, and another for the signing of the register which went on longer than we'd expected and i hadn't really thought about it but Thomas just chose one and off the cuff and played another song which was lovely. He also did the music outside while everyone was having drinks which was just beautiful and created a lovely atmosphere.

Tom provided music for our wedding service and reception and we would highly recommend him. We asked for a specific song to be played while we were signing the marriage register which he played beuatifully, and when the signing over-ran, he choose some further songs to play which were a perfect fit and sounded beautiful in the church. During our drinks reception Tom played a selection of tunes that created such a wonderful atmosphere - so many of our guests commented on how talented he was a how much it added to the occasion. He was extremely professional and very well organised - he arrived early to set-up and to ensure everything ran smoothly and did just what we had asked for. As well as providing a high quality of music Tom was really helpful and friendly to have around, which meant a lot to us on our special day. We would certainly recommend Tom without any hesitation for any special event.
