Heart-Shaped Box

Heart-Shaped Box was oficially launched at the end of summer 2011 by me, Candice, following three years of preparation. I planned my own wedding in 2008 and from then on I longed to take the plunge and do it professionally.

I have now worked well with clients, venues, their teams and other suppliers to ensure my couples have had memorable, distinctive and smooth-flowing wedding days. I take pride in everything I turn my hand to - be it finding the right supplier to meet your needs or organising your entire wedding day with every detail made by hand. Prior to being a wedding planner I was a qualified project manager for five years. I managed contracts, delivered against project plans and part of my role included organisation of launch events – normally conferences and training events – for key deliverables. These were attended by all grades within the public sector and involved catering and decoration by third-party as well as in-house suppliers.

I found my true calling in life when I became a project manager - these days I just prefer to do it with a little more creativity and see the results quicker!
