Kathryn's Cakes

I first got into sugarcraft about 15 years ago when I attended some local classes.

Mainly self-taught, I am an award winning cake designer and decorator with Gold Medals at both Cake International 2008 and 2009 as well as three Golds at presitgious British Sugarcraft Guild competitions, one in the Wedding Cake class. More recently, I was a finalist in PME Cake Decorator of the Year 2011 and a Regional Finalist in the 2012 Wedding Industry Awards.

2012 saw my work published in Cake Craft and Decoration with a designs in the February and May issue.


My cakes have featured in Wedding Cakes, a Design Source, Issues 20, 24, 25, 36, 38, 39, 40 and 41, Cakes and Sugarcraft, Issue 113, and Cake Craft and Decoration as well as Worcestershire Living, February 2011, and Wedding Ideas November 2010 and April 2011.

I enjoy sharing my skills and enthusiasm with others and, as an Accredited Demonstrator, Assessor and Member of the Demonstrator Training Committee with the British Sugarcraft Guild, I am available for demonstrations, workshops and private tuition.
