Heathers Cakes

Heathers cakes is an Edinburgh based business. Since 2009 we have been designing and creating bespoke cakes for all occasions. Offering a personal service we work closely with clients to produce individual cake designs within their budget. We take on a limited number of commissions to insure a high level of attention to detail.

I have always had a passion for baking so when planning my wedding decided to bake my own cake. A friend of the family, Elaine, made the decorations for the cake and I was so impressed, I thought, I have to give this a try.

I have become obsessed. I began learning about sugarcraft and cake decorating as a hobby. After attending several courses at Squires Kitchen and my hobby quickly developed into a business, as more and more people asked me to make their cakes. I am now delighted to be working with fabulous wedding suppliers such as Planet Flowers and Twenty-Seven, to create breath-taking cakes and treats for events throughout Scotland. I love working with couples to design their perfect cake and I believe that if you have an idea for a cake, I can make it happen.
