I’m often asked why ‘I do’ ceremonies (ok, bad pun). I come from a family of atheists, rationalists and scientists, and in 2008 I had an extraordinary summer with a wealth of weddings and funerals, none of which really fitted or reflected the people we were celebrating; I began to look to other ways to celebrate life.
It was my Grandpa who suggested the training because it fitted the skills I have as a psychologist, writer and a musician. This work enables me not only to meet some amazing people, but to contribute to people’s lives and experiences in a meaningful and real way.
