Whether your sleeves are thin or thick, having that extra layer of protection can help take the bite out of the cold. Wedding dresses with sleeves also tend to have higher necklines, which will also leave you less exposed to the elements.

Invest in a bolero

Despite the temptation to borrow your new partner’s suit jacket during the evening, having your own bolero, shawl or even blazer can help keep you warmer. Not only are many boleros made from warmer materials, being more fitted to you they will also let less of the weather in. If you’re up for a more unconventional look then a surefire way to keep you warm during your wedding day is to cover up with a pantsuit. A pantsuit is a stylish addition to your wardrobe, can be well accessorised, and will give you a touch of modern elegance when you walk down the aisle.
