According to British mathematician Alex Bellos, we’re all cutting our cakes incorrectly and most inefficiently – and we’ve been doing so for centuries.
There is, apparently, a far more scientific way to cut your humble cake to ensure it will be as deliciously moist and soft on Day 3 as it was on Day 1, as he explains in the video below.
It’s actually quite brilliant, though we’re not sure it will take off as the new way of cutting your wedding cake!
