One Sydney super-fan has scored the ultimate prize from her idol Prince Harry: She received a coveted kiss from the fifth in line to the British throne.
Wearing a plastic crown and carrying a giant sign saying ‘Marry me, Prince Harry. Last chance!” Victoria McRae waited in line outside Sydney’s Opera House hoping to catch a glimpse of her favourite prince – but she got more than she bargained for when, remarkably, Harry approached her.
Not one to waste a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Victoria immediately popped the big question.
“He said could he think about it and I said I’d be happy with a kiss,” Victoria told Sky News. “He let me kiss him on the cheek. I went in for it.”
Victoria added that it was “everything she expected and more” and was “very happy.”
