Matt and I met when we were 15 working part time at Woolworths. He worked in the produce area and I was on the checkout. We did like each other and did spend a little bit of time together until we parted ways at 19 and moved on to full time jobs.
We didn’t really keep in touch and moved and had relationships as you do. Matt had a relationship which resulted in a beautiful little boy – Dillan. Matt separated from Dillan’s Mum when Dillan was 1. Just before Dillan’s 2nd birthday, Matts sister talked him into setting up a Facebook page.
I saw him come up – straight away added him and started messaging each other and within the week we caught up. It didn’t take long to realise we had the same feelings we had when we were younger. We were inseparable and within a couple of months were exclusive – we made it official on the 14th of February 2010, yes Valentine’s day (Corny I know) but we knew – I think we always knew! So thanks to Facebook and technology we are happily together planning the rest of our lives together! (We still shop at Woolworths every week)
