Nonsuch Mansion has received its prestigious Grade II*-listing for good reason. The stunning edifice was constructed at the start of the 19th century (extending the existing 18th-century house) in a Tudor Gothic fashion. It's the interior which clearly caught the imagination of English Heritage, who describe the ground floor thus: "a fine enfilade of principal rooms with wide interconnecting doors for entertaining" - in other words, it's a house purpose-built for weddings!
