As if we needed another reason to love British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran, or his best-selling song Thinking Out Loud, any more than we already do…
Sheeran, who is currently touring Australia and New Zealand, recently performed the hit song as a surprise for a Sydney couple whose wedding was organised by KIIS FM radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O.
The couple, Kya and Matt Debono, have dreamed of marrying for several years, but after the bride’s mother died and they had to pay for her funeral, they’ve struggled to save the funds needed to pull off their dream big day.
But, with the help of Kyle and Jackie O, a $60,000 wedding was organised – and so was the wedding singer: Ed Sheeran.
Newly single Sheeran arrived and performed a touching version of Thinking Out Loud while Kya and Matt danced their first dance as husband and wife, then he departed, wishing them well and saying “Have a good wedding – and make lots of babies!”
Aww, ain’t love – and Ed Sheeran – grand?
