She’s the music industry superstar whom so many have never heard of – and she’s Australian – and she got married over the weekend!
The super secret Adelaide-born Sia Furler, who, famously, performed her Top 10 hit Chandelier on The Ellen Show with a paper bag over her head and regularly sings with her back to the audience, has collaborated with the world’s top music talents, including Shakira, Beyonce, Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera.
Though she’s had her own Top 10 hits and albums, she’s best known in the industry for her song-writing skills and co-penned Titanium with David Guetta and Wild Ones with Flo Rida.
The 38-year-old wed her long time love, documentary maker Erik Anders Lang at their home in California, exactly two months to the day since they became engaged.
And, though news of the nuptials came as a surprise to most, the talented singer/songwriter did give fans an oh-so-small hint that something big was up via Twitter the day of her wedding.
Yep, we’re pretty excited too and can’t wait to see the pictures, but knowing just how private the talented duo are, we’re not holding our breath!
Congratulations to them both.
