Former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins, 26, and long-time beau Jake Wall, 27, are planning to wed next year.
The couple are yet to lock in a date, but they are hoping to take a trip down the aisle in early 2012.
“I have got the vision that I want. I know what I want, it is just about locking in a date, a season, where it will be,” Hawkins is quoted as saying.
“I am so excited. I can’t wait. It probably won’t be (this year), no, because we are halfway into the year.
“Soon though. It has been full front of my mind.”
Hawkins plans to investigate possible dress designs next month while filming for Channel 9’s Getaway, travel show.
“I will investigate,” Hawkins said.
“I’ll talk to designers here and overseas. I am sure some Australian designers will be in there (her wedding party) in some way.”
Jen and Jake have been dating since before she became Miss Universe in 2004 and became engaged last New Year’s Eve when Jake popped the question with a $200,000 custom-made engagement ring.
