Dog acts as cameraman for owner’s proposal

Here’s a novel way to ensure your big marriage proposal is filmed – but that it still remains absolutely private: Get your pooch to film it.

That’s precisely how New Jersey man Kurt Gies captured his beach-side proposal to long-time girlfriend Amanda Wiseman.

Kurt took Amanda – and their pooch Roo – for a romantic seaside walk and, when he arrived at a particularly secluded spot, he got on bended knee and popped the big question. However, unbeknownst to Amanda, the whole thing was filmed thanks to a GoPro camera strapped to Roo’s back.

Roo must have been trained well because he doesn’t flinch and captures the whole thing perfectly. He even howls with delight when she says, ‘yes!’
