It was the perfect wedding photo location that turned out to be, well, less than perfect.
Newlyweds Brian and Rachel Pepper were having their post-ceremony wedding photos taken in an idyllic paddock near Tamworth when the photographer, Rachel Deane, noticed a rather unusual photo bomber, a big, black bull.
“It was a beautiful setting, they were kissing and then the bull came up and started photobombing,” Rachel told news.com.au.
“It then started to get closer and closer and came all the way up and sniffed Rebecca’s dress.”
The couple tried to shoo the inquisitive beast away but that only seemed to annoy him and the bull promptly backed up, kicked up some dust and then charged the terrified couple.
Thankfully, the groom gave chase and he, his new wife and the photographer were unharmed – but the event certainly made for a memorable wedding photo shoot – and one-off wedding photos!
The bride said, “It was a young bull with a bit of bravado but it wasn’t serious, it just didn’t want us in its paddock but Brian was my hero.”
True story. No bull…
