Wedding invites weren’t high on my list of “wedding wants” I am far too practical to obsess about paper and embellishments – shoes on the other hand…well you’ve seen my posts 馃槈
Some of our very talented forum girls have created their own invites from scratch! Or found some beautiful ready made ones. 聽 Craig and I wanted something simple, elegant and relatively low-fuss. 聽So I decided to go the DIY option with this one. I played around with some fonts and graphics and created a monogram – added a little red and voila!
The are a DL size – so I don’t have to worry about extra postage, there will be 3 cards or varying sizes, one is the invite, one is a map and some advice about the venue and one is our wishing well card.
I found the right coloured card at Discount Wedding Papers – with matching envelopes and will probably tie it all together with a red ribbon. Will have my camera handy when I start DIY-ing. I am thinking of printing these at home, but will do some trial runs first.
