Would you let your celebrant plan your ceremony without your involvement?
Cassie, 30, and Sam, 29, handed the reins over to their celebrant, Neil Lynch, for their bohemian elopement on March 28, 2019. “What an amazing celebrant — we chose a surprise ceremony and he delivered,” praises Cassie. “It was humorous and romantic. Just what we wanted. Neil even brought his dog Tanni which made the day even more special.”
The couple chose to elope so the celebration was just about them. “We chose to get married up in the Isle of Skye, as the location was beautiful, and the backdrop provided the perfect place to exchange our vows,” says Cassie. “Plus, Sam had an obsession with Braveheart,” she laughs.
The bride says the day was relaxed and smooth. “It was a super relaxed and easy day — we hope to inspire other couples to be brave and do their wedding the way they want.”

“I’m an Aussie, and my now husband is a Brit. I came here on a working holiday visa, and met Sam a month in at his local pub in Harpenden,” says Cassie.
“Married life is complete bliss when you find the one. We truly are each other’s best friend,” smiles the bride.
“Dylan is a fellow Aussie and a top guy. He managed to capture our love story in the most amazing way,” praises the bride.
“We enjoyed a 5 course meal at The Kinloch Lodge after our elopement, the food and service was incredible,” recalls Cassie.
