It’s that time of year again, and the 88th Academy Awards red carpet did not disappoint! Many of the gorgeous gowns worn by celebrities at the Oscars this year featured stunning bridal elements. From Lady Gaga’s crisp, white structured jumpsuit to Heidi Klum’s frothy pastel Marchesa gown, there was plenty of wedding dress inspiration on display.
And while some of the looks were not in shades of bridal white, many of the gowns featured on the carpet are perfect inspiration for mothers and bridesmaids! Details like 3D appliques and lace sleeves are both big bridal trends for 2016, and many celebrities such as Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara wore dresses that featured such details.
