With Kimye’s first wedding anniversary around the corner, it was inevitable that Kanye West would do something spectacular to celebrate, and though we thought it would be hard to top his actual wedding, which was held in an ancient Italian fortress, he has managed to do so – with aplomb!
It is reported the millionaire rapper has booked out France’s most iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tour, to celebrate his first wedding anniversary. Us Weekly reports that Mrs Kim Kardashian West. 34. and her hubby, 37, will renew their vows in the shadow of France’s most famous venue.
While Paris is famed for being the City of Love, it has a particularly special place in the hearts of Kim and Kanye.
“We fell in love in Paris,” Kim once told reporters, “and then I got pregnant with our daughter in Florence.”
The couple married in a lavish wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy on May 24 last year and their nuptials were followed by a family getaway in Paris. Their rehearsal dinner was held at another of France’s top tourist destinations, the Palace of Versailles.
Kanye has also booked out the prestigious 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant for his first anniversary celebrations, which will follow the couple’s appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, which kicked off today.
