I have loved every single ceremony I’ve ever done. As well as the seriousness of the occasion, there’s usually some laughter somewhere. The weddings I do are always people-led, so have varied enormously. I’ve loved working with different kinds of people to help them achieve exactly the ceremony they desire and which truly represents them.  I find it a real privilege to be part of such important events in people’s lives.

I take pride in celebrating diversity and openness and am sensitive to different cultures and philosophies. I am not affiliated to any religious or humanist organisation, so I’m open to secular ceremonies, or ceremonies with some spiritual or religious content, whatever is right for that individual.

Specialising in outdoor weddings, I'm happiest in fields, woods, gardens and barns! I’m also open to any of your ideas, however traditional or quirky!

I particularly love doing handfastings, and can advise on other symbolic ceremonies such as unity candles, sand ceremonies or jumping the broom, and on readings and music, whatever's right for you.

I’ve trained as an Independent Professional Celebrant with the College of Celebrancy UK, and am a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I have also completed the artistic Rites of Passage celebrant training with Dead Good Guides.
Based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, I’m happy to travel and can easily visit you to plan your ceremony if you live anywhere in or near the East Midlands.

I am an artist/celebrant so I guess I do veer towards the quirky locations and creative ideas. I've worked as a performance artist and a teacher and love working with people. I’m as likely to lead same sex weddings as any other and love celebrating diversity and openness to different cultures and philosophies. I guess I'm a pretty relaxed celebrant, happy to help you create whatever you wish for.
