What better way to celebrate an intimate vow renewal with 19 people than taking a picnic into the forest.
Sarah and Callum, both aged 36, did just that with their two children and nearest and dearest in Delamere Forest on August 31, 2018. Their sons, aged six and four, carried out the ceremony and wrote the couple’s vows.
“When we married back in 2008 it was easy to get swept up in the whirlwind of it all and succumb to the pressures of trying to create the ‘perfect’ wedding,” recalls Sarah. “With the vow renewal, everything was so much more relaxed.”
She says the fact they had already been married for 10 years “took the pressure off a bit!” “After spending the day playing in the forest we all piled back to Frodsham to Kash 22 for a relaxed dinner,” explains the bride. “Their food is amazing and it was the perfect end to a perfect day.”

Having been married for 10 years took the pressure of this “second wedding”.
The pair kept things casual for the vow renewal, wearing their favourite leather jackets.
