“As every great love story should, ours began with tequila!”
Natalie Quaid and Philip Roscoe, aged 28 and 31 respectively, may have met over tequila, but they married over mulled wine. Their winter wedding coincided with Christmas time, set for December 5, 2014. “With having our families living in different countries, we don’t always get to celebrate Christmas with everyone, so we wanted to have a family style banquet for our with all our nearest and dearest, lots of mulled wine and festive fun,” explains Natalie.
The pair wed with 120 guests at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Northern Ireland, followed by a reception at the Lough Erne Resort in Enniskillen. “Stylistically we went for long vertical tables dressed with heavy damask fabrics with wild willowy foliage and lots of candles,” says Natalie. ”The tables almost felt Dickensian, it was beautiful.”
Making sure their daughter also had a fabulous time, the wedding was child-friendly. “We had a snug area for the kids which we opened after the meal, we had arts and crafts, DVDs and of course lots of sweet treats,” smiles the bride.
The couple honeymooned in Dublin and Rome.
