London couple Emma and Adam sparkle at country house wedding

Unreliable British weather meant Emma and Adam were seeking a venue just as beautiful on the inside as the outside.

The pair, aged 31 and 30 respectively, married at Stubton Hall in Nottinghamshire on October 6, 2018 with 120 guests. The country house wedding was a two-day affair.  “We were so lucky as our venue had 25 rooms and gave us access the day before so we could play games in the grounds and have a meal with everyone the night before,” says the bride. “Our personal style is a pop of colour and sparkle, which we got into the wedding day through the colours we picked, and the way in which we accessorised the venue to accentuate some of its features further.”

The bride’s dress was a “big secret”, with only her mum having seen her in it in person. “I even had to make secret trips to Wallingford where my brother and his wife lived as I felt I had shown them a dress I liked in the shop before I had even tried on, and I didn’t want them to guess my dress!” she laughs.
