Ardington House

Ardington House is a venue for weddings and we offer the House, formal gardens, parkland, river, Temple Island and a fully set up marquee for events. This combination of both large indoor and outdoor areas set alongside a river provides an exceptional backdrop to any event.

Ardington House is licensed to hold civil ceremonies either in the Hall (for up to 60 guests) with its imperial double staircase – one of only two in the country – or outside on the highly popular Temple Island (for up to 200 guests). Our village church is also a classic English setting for your marriage.

Having received guests at the imposing north frontage of Ardington House we recommend holding a drinks reception on the South Lawn with views of the river and the parkland around the House. A few steps from the South Lawn and next to the Temple Island we provide a heated marquee for up to 200 guests. Features included with the marquee are:
