Catthorpe Manor is a beautiful, versatile and elegant country manor house estate set within 26 secluded acres of landscaped gardens, parkland and woodland in the heart of the Midlands, on the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire borders. Located within a few miles of major road and rail networks, the manor has an enviable position for ease of access from anywhere in the UK. Nestling between the attractive villages of Lilbourne and Catthorpe, home of the infamous A14 Catthorpe interchange, and dating back to the 18th Century, the estate has a diverse history and has been owned since 1975 by registered charity ‘The Latvian Welfare Trust’. Following extensive renovations of the facilities in early 2011 the estate today thrives as an enchanting Leicestershire wedding venue and a busy functions, meetings and conferences center.
The lovely gardens and woodland surrounding the manor house provide a peaceful haven for visitors and wildlife alike, whilst the lake, in the adjacent field, presents the most beautiful photographic backdrop. The circular woodland walk is a delight throughout the seasons, with a carpet of bluebells blooming in April and May, whilst winter and autumn provide some of the most spectacular photographic opportunities.
