The Norwood Park Events Team recognise that weddings come in all shapes, sizes and styles. We can transform the House, Gardens and the Gallery into a wonder of differnet styles. The only limitation is your imagination.
Norwood Park is an exclusive use venue, meaning that we only ever have one celebration per day so that you and your guests can celebration in complete privacy. The stunning interiors, vast grounds and critically acclaimed kitchen team offer guests the extraordinary opportunity to stay and celebrate in this grand Country House residence.
Whether you dream of an indoor or an outdoor ceremony, Norwood Park has 3 licensed spaces to hold a civil ceremony including the charming Drawing Room which can seat up to 75 guests, the grand Gallery which can seat 150 guests and our outdoor Gazebo which can seat 100 guests with standing room for a further 50 guests. If you are looking for a more traditional wedding ceremony, Southwell is filled with Religious Churches that can host your wedding ceremony, just a short walk or drive from Norwood Park.
Large or intimate? We can host the exact Wedding Reception that you are hoping for. For a more intimate setting of between 18-50 guests, you may choose to have your reception in the Drawing Room. Alternatively for those larger parties, you may choose to host your reception in the Gallery where we can seat up to 150 guests.
Once the vows have been spoken, speeches delivered, dining done and formal photos complete, it's time to party with your family and guests! The Gallery at Norwood Park is an ideal and spacious venue to celebrate in style with up to 250 guests. There is ample room for bands and DJs, a large dancefloor, full bar and outside courtyard for relaxing. Norwood Park has everything you have dreamed of to host the most of memorable wedding days.

To truly make your celebration incredible, Norwood Park can sleep up to 47 overnight guests throughout a selection of bedrooms and suites. Our bedrooms are designed for elegance, practicality and comfort in mind, whilst matching the original floor plan of this historic Country House.

At Norwood Park, we recognise that weddings come in all different shapes and styles meaning that Weddings at Norwood Park can range from £8,000 up to £35,000.
Yes, we require a minimum of 50 adult day time guests for your Wedding here at Norwood Park. It may be possible to host a Wedding with less than 50 guests, however this is at the Managers discretion and requires their written approval before the Wedding is booked.
Norwood Park has three areas approved for Civil Ceremonies. The first is the Drawing Room where up to 75 guests may enjoy the Ceremony, whilst our Gallery can seat up to 150 guests for the Ceremony. In the Garden, our Gazebo is also approved for a ceremony with seating for up to 100 guests and standing space for a further 50 guests.
Yes! We have 21 bedrooms across the House, sleeping up to 47 adults in total when every bedroom is fully occupied. As part of your Wedding booking, we require you to book out all the Main House bedrooms, this is made up of 4 suites and 4 bedrooms.
Norwood Park is an exclusive use venue, meaning that you will have 100% exclusivity from 12 noon until 12am on the day of your celebrations.
When you book Norwood Park, the following items are included should you wish to use them: 150 chairs, round or rectangle trestle tables and white table cloths, white napkins, silver cutlery, white crockery, table numbers, easel and garden games.
At Norwood Park, we do allow the use of candles and you may dress the venue as you choose. All candles must be contained, however we do allow candelabras for the Wedding Breakfast which will be lit once everyone is seated. We cannot allow any items or drapery to be attached to our floors, walls or fittings.
While we do not allow guests to throw confetti in or around the Main House and Gallery, we do allow you to throw natural/biodegradable petals on the front lawn. We do not allow the use of confetti canons.
Yes, you may book a professional "non-bang" fireworks company to supply and manage your fireworks on the night. We also allow the use of sparklers outside in the gardens and on our terrace. We request that you only use the fireworks supplier included in our Black Book.
No this isn't possible, however our exceptional Kitchen Team will be more than happy to make the exact menu you are looking for. We do not allow on site food trucks, ice cream vans or outside caterers.
No, this isn't possible, however our Norwood Bar Team are more than happy to source and supply whatever drinks you are wanting to provide to your guests. We do not allow on site any external Prosecco Carts, Gin Bars, etc. However we are able to do our own in house gin/prosecco bar, please ask the Events Team for more information.
