OVERVIEW

If you are looking for a completely secluded woodland venue which is unlike anything you have seen before then this is the venue for you.

Set within 80 acres of privately owned land within the Kent Downs area of outstanding natural beauty, this stunning ancient woodland, field shelter and meadow offers the most unique and secluded setting.

We hold a legal ceremony license within our Field Shelter, and have a woodland blessing area giving you the rare opportunity of getting married at our Venue.
Say I do overlooking the most beautiful trees and wildflower meadows or hold a personal blessing under a canopy of ancient woodland. The choice is yours….

Here at The Dreys, we have accommodation for those that wish to do a night of Camping away from the Hustle & Bustle of our everyday lives. We have 10 of our Meadow Bell Tents, 2 Shepherds Huts and our Woodcutters Lodge.

I can't thank you enough for all you did to make our day the success that it was. You worked tirelessly on our behalf all the time we were at Squirrel Wood, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and it was the most perfect venue for our wedding. Not only did we have the best day of our lives, but so too have several of our guests! Squirrel Wood is such a beautiful venue, not just for the wedding itself, but for those camping too and with the perfect weather we had, you couldn't really ask for more!

We want to thank you for your help on the morning of the wedding, in supplying the drinks trimmings and glasses requested by the caterers. We received so many positive comments on how beautiful a venue Squirrel Woodland is, so we will be sure to pass on your details to anyone who enquires about it as a possible future wedding venue...or otherwise! We look forward to seeing you again, if we are able to plan a return visit to the Woodcutters cottage...fingers crossed!
