Although, at present, Independent Celebrants cannot conduct a legal marriage ceremony, we are often asked to carry out wedding celebrations such as a renewal of vows and can also conduct a tailor-made wedding ceremony for you which can then be legalised by an official registrar being present at the location of the wedding.

Registrars are able to travel to different places to conduct the legalities of the service. This would allow you to have your wedding ceremony with the readings, music, special vows and anything else that you want included, giving you an alternative to a religious service or the cold legalese of the registry office.

A renewal of vows ceremony, of course, can be carried out anywhere and without the need for legal proceedings. I will tailor-make the service according to your wishes, including any readings, poetry and music you wish to have included.
