The romantic and exclusive setting of Kennaway House is the perfect wedding venue. This lovely Grade II* listed Regency mansion, standing in attractive grounds at the heart of Sidmouth, is licensed for civil weddings and is available for hire throughout the year.
Whether you choose to spend all or only part of your wedding day at Kennaway House, we will work closely with you to make sure it is the day of your dreams.
The beautifully restored Hatton Wood and Amyatt Rooms, with their high sash windows and period decor, are the ideal backdrop for your exchange of vows in the presence of up to 80 guests.
We will be pleased to provide all the assistance you need, both before and on the day itself, to ensure your ceremony is exactly as you would wish.
Following your ceremony, here or elsewhere, we will be delighted to accommodate your formal wedding breakfast for up to 60 guests in our elegantly proportioned Hatton Wood room.
Our spacious Cellar Bar is ideal for larger gatherings of up to 100 guests, and is also the perfect spot for your evening entertainment.
Our recently installed catering facilities are second to none. We offer a wide choice of sit-down and buffet menus from local caterers renowned for their high standards of quality and service.
Hotels for guests staying overnight are along the sea front, only a few minutes’ walk away.
