Image: Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Britain&#8217;s Parliament has passed a bill legalising same-sex marriages in England and Wales.<\/p>\n<p>The House of Commons today approved minor tweaks to the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill, which was passed by the House of Lords just one day earlier.<\/p>\n<p>All that is required for the bill to become operable law is for it to receive the Queen&#8217;s assent, which is expected to happen by the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The new bill allows gay couples to marry in both civil and religious ceremonies in England and Wales.
