{"id":229313,"date":"2019-04-16T05:00:57","date_gmt":"2019-04-15T19:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/uk\/real-weddings\/emily-and-greg-start-new-chapter-at-rustic-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T13:45:23","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T02:45:23","slug":"emily-and-greg-start-new-chapter-at-rustic-wedding","status":"publish","type":"uk-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/real-weddings\/uk\/real-weddings\/emily-and-greg-start-new-chapter-at-rustic-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Emily and Greg start new chapter at rustic wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Two impending arrivals on the one day signalled a new chapter in Emily and Greg\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn January 2017 Em\u2019s engagement ring arrived from Hatton Garden and on the same day we had another arrival expected as we found out Em was pregnant!\u201d Greg,\u201d 27, recalls.<\/p>\n<p>He and Emily, 30, met online about three years before, but Greg\u2019s life in the military meant the time they had together was precious.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t want a long engagement but due to giving birth in August 2017 to a beautiful baby girl called Evelyn, we decided to set the date for February 2, 2019.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The couple chose St Peter\u2019s Church in Thornton, Leicestershire for their rustic wedding before the reception at The Old Stables in Swithland surrounded by 105 guests.<\/p>\n<p>The couple personalised their celebrations by using people they knew to bring their creative vision to life.<\/p>\n<p>Emily describes the rustic wedding like a dream come true.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had such a crazy relationship being apart from each other for months due to being in the<br \/>\nmilitary when we met. To tie it all together with our loved ones and our beautiful 18-month-old daughter was a dream come true. One date then became two and before we knew it we were a couple under the stars in the Derbyshire dales.
