sharing a bottle of wine in their Lechlade cottage backyard, their ceremony venue choice seemed obvious.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We live in the churchyard, can see the spire from our bedroom window and can hear the church bells on a Sunday morning,&#8221; Bryony says of local St Lawrence Church.\u00a0&#8220;I got ready at home with my bridesmaids and my Dad walked me down the church path to the ceremony.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The pair, aged 30 and 31 respectively, let family, connection and history influence the direction of their springtime DIY wedding.<\/p>\n<p>Decorations, wedding favours and cakes were handcrafted by family and friends, something Bryony says made the day uniquely theirs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If that wasn&#8217;t enough, my Dad surprised me with a bagpiper to accompany us to the church as a homage to our Scottish heritage,&#8221; smiles the bride.<\/p>\n<p>110 guests joined the pair for the April 28, 2018 festivities, which continued into the night at a beautiful marquee
