{"id":225614,"date":"2018-11-18T06:00:07","date_gmt":"2018-11-17T19:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/uk\/real-weddings\/prom-king-and-queen-hannah-and-tom-marry-at-classic-country-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T13:10:20","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T02:10:20","slug":"prom-king-and-queen-hannah-and-tom-marry-at-classic-country-wedding","status":"publish","type":"uk-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/real-weddings\/uk\/real-weddings\/prom-king-and-queen-hannah-and-tom-marry-at-classic-country-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Prom&#8217;s &#8216;cutest couple&#8217; Hannah and Tom marry at classic country wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">\u201cI loved science and felt that anything less than an A was a failure, whereas Tom loved sport and spent a lot of time outside the head mistress\u2019s office,\u201d Hannah says of her differences to Tom, who she met at school.<\/p>\n<p>The pair, both aged 29, went on to win cutest couple at their high school prom \u2014 and you can see why looking at the pictures from their classic country wedding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter waiting for what seemed like an eternity (well it was 11 years) Tom finally asked me to marry him whilst on a trip to Venice,\u201d smiles Hannah.<\/p>\n<p>They invited 85 of their nearest and dearest to the special day on May 12, 2018 in Devon England.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe looked at was Shilstone House in Modbury and we immediately fell in love,\u201d explains the bride. \u201cIt was the perfect country house setting in the rolling Devonshire hills.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hannah, who admittedly had been planning her wedding to Tom for 11 years, says bride and grooms shouldn\u2019t \u201csweat the small stuff\u201d. \u201cBefore the wedding you can spend hours agonising over the tiniest details.
