{"id":222668,"date":"2018-06-01T05:00:46","date_gmt":"2018-05-31T19:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/uk\/real-weddings\/family-comes-first-at-jess-and-robs-rustic-diy-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T12:49:07","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T01:49:07","slug":"family-comes-first-at-jess-and-robs-rustic-diy-wedding","status":"publish","type":"uk-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/real-weddings\/uk\/real-weddings\/family-comes-first-at-jess-and-robs-rustic-diy-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Family comes first at Jess and Rob&#8217;s rustic DIY wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Jess, 25, and Rob, 28, weren\u2019t in a rush to get married after becoming engaged, instead prioritising buying their first home.<\/p>\n<p>But as Jess puts so well, life had other plans. \u201cWe discovered that Rob\u2019s sister \u2013 also my best friend and therefore maid on honour \u2013 is terminally ill, so we decided we would get cracking and plan a wedding in a matter of weeks,\u201d explains Jess.<\/p>\n<p>They married at their rustic DIY wedding on April 29, 2018 with 100 guests.
