homemade\u00a0wedding, with three tipis set out on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingVenues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">private land<\/a> boasting fairy lights, hay bales and a fire pit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs well as a relaxed venue, we also knew that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/articles\/ideas-tips-quirky-wedding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">we didn\u2019t want a lot of the traditions<\/a> that usually come with a wedding, like a sit-down meal or first dance,\u201d explains Laura. \u201cInstead we opted for a picnic style barbecue, made our own playlists and ordered in some casino tables with personalised pretend money for evening entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Photographer Rhi Schothbrook says the tipi was a fantastic feature of the May 13, 2017 wedding. \u201cIt created a really warm and welcoming ambience that matched perfectly with the rustic details Andrew and Laura and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/articles\/weddings-diy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">handmade<\/a> and dotted all around the venue,\u201d she said. \u201cThey had everything covered from personalised welcome signs as you approached the venue, to tree trunk and mason jar <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingDecorations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">centrepieces<\/a> for the tables, it was truly beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said the couple were \u201creally <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/articles\/eco-friendly-wedding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">organic<\/a>\u201d to photograph. \u201cThey were relaxed, easy-going and full of joy under,&#8221;\u00a0smiles Laura.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-106930\" src=\"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Laura_Andrew_Rustic-Homemade-Wedding_Rhi-Scotchbrook-Photography_015.jpg\"
